The stone is rolled away. The tomb is empty. Jesus is alive!
The stone is rolled away. The tomb is empty. Jesus is alive!
Suffering and pain are part of our human existence. But God loves us because we are His children and will walk with us, support us, experience it all with us, and ultimately deliver us. Jesus is the answer.
God’s answer for the brokenness, loneliness, sin, forgiveness, and lack of peace is THE MAN, CHRIST JESUS. Jesus has the balm of healing for all our needs.
Life has many changes. The only thing we can be sure of is the immutable love of God. God’s love never changes.
“Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.” James 1:2-5
“Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.” James 1:12
“In this, you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith-of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire-may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory, and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.” I Peter 1: 6-7
Jesus is my good Shepherd, Who guides my decision-making by His word, by answering my prayers, and by giving me peace. I am His sheep and I know His voice.
Those persons who abide in Christ and who have the Word of God abiding in them are in a privileged position – their prayers are going to be answered.
With a mighty hand, God delivers us from everything that might harm us, hinder us, or even enslave us. With a mighty hand, He cares, protects and guides us. We are weak, but He is strong. Our God is a Mighty God! Amen!
The Death, Burial, and Resurrection of Jesus bring forgiveness of sins and a new life. The old of our former lives is gone and the new of our new life begins. The old has passed and the new has come.
